A 2,031 HP vehicle from Texas was introduced at the 2025 edition of The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering. The Hennessey Venom F5 is shedding weight, but is not dropping speed at all. Being built in Texas, the hypercar is a way for Hennessey to strip back on things. Although the weight is ultimately reduced, the manual gearbox stays as is, and performance remains phenomenal. F5 Revolution F: A powerhouse that’s stealing the show
At this year’s limited Motorsports Gathering, the Hennessey Venom F5 Revolution F stole the show. Said to be more like a fighter jet than a road car, the F5 Revolution F draws inspiration from the Hennessey Venom F5 Coupe. Delivering unfiltered performance due to the missile that can be found beneath the Cocoa Brown carbon fiber bodywork.
With the 66.6-liter twin-turbocharged V8, the Venom F5 Revolution boasts 2,031 horsepower with 1,193 lb-ft of torque. This car is a rear wheel drive that remains connected to the road through a 6-speed manual transmission, which yet again rewrites the script completely at a time when the dual-clutch tends to dominate.

Not focused on hybridization or even autonomous tech, Hennessey is being rather rebellious. The Venom F5 Revolution F takes off some weight and expands the boundaries philosophically and technically. The body panels have been reworked and optimized to ensure maximal airflow. With this vehicle, all excess bulk is cut out.
The idea is to ensure that the vehicle is race worthy and every element of the vehicle fulfills its respective purpose. The vehicle can go faster and even stop more quickly. Hennessey wanted to reach a target of 300 mph; however, it seems like the Venom F5 is one impressive machine that can exceed these set goals, making it a massive giant in terms of performance.
An entirely new chapter for Hennessey, going beyond speed
Since Hennessey builds bespoke hypercars, the Revolution F ensures mechanical madness. During The Quail, the Texan brand’s car titan, John Hennessey, expressed plans to work with European marques, including Lamborghini and Porsche. With the fame gained in 1990 for the original Venom 650R Viper, Hennessey’s performance has since become even better.
Although Hennessey remains a low-volume manufacturer that produces merely 600 vehicles per year, the company is looking to scale up by considering partnerships with GM and Stellantis to enhance projects such as the Revolution F. Sounding very much like America and driving faster than a rocket, this is one vehicle that is built for all who dare to take the wheel. Tesla’s Robotaxis are finally coming to America, and Musk has plans for this state, but Hennessey is a vehicle from the state making a powerful impact.
A purely transformative moment for Hennessey
The moment at The Quail itself signified a larger transformation, showcasing that American vehicle brands are ready to tap into the global hypercar market and dominate conversations. With the Venom F5 Revolution F, Hennessey roars straight out of Texas, showcasing over 2,000 horsepower.
Stripped down to the basics, this monstrous vehicle demonstrates that less is more. With the world moving towards electric vehicles, Hennessey is pushing the agenda in terms of internal combustion vehicles and is showing that there is still some fire left. So while Tesla is dealing with its biggest rival, which is not BYD, Hennessey has created a missile that is silently stealing the show in Texas and beyond.
