Ultraviolette’s next generation creation is here, and this Bengaluru based motorcycle maker has captured the core essence of electric bike transformation. The plan of Ultraviolette is to expand its offerings in 10 countries in Europe with its Mach 2 and the F77 SuperStreet  being featured in France already. This big unveil has placed this brand in the heart of a competitive global market showing that the Indian brand is capable of transforming how electric mobility gets perceived. The brand boasts a stunning design whilst ensuring ultimate performance in the form of the F77 SuperStreet which is the commuter-friendlier option of the Mach 2 making riding electric motorcycles the right cup of tea for all riders.

Ultraviolette’s strategic European debut

Choosing to launch the Mach 2 and the F77 SuperStreet on the streets of Paris was a highly calculated move by Ultraviolette who has set its sights globally. Ultraviolette is not only including France to its eclectic European portfolio, but Germany, UK, Austria, Italy, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Netherlands, and Belgium too. The company is set to expand its European portfolio so as to set itself apart as an EV contender in the global EV market.

At the moment, the SuperStreet is priced at €8,990 (approx ₹8.95 lakh), and the Mach 2 carries the price tag of €9,290 (approx ₹9.25 lakh). Pre-bookings for one of these amazing bikes will be allowed until July 31, 2025. Once the July deadline for pre-bookings set in, the prices will escalate to €9,990 for the SuperStreet and €10,390 for the Mach 2.

Ultraviolette’s CEO, Narayan Subramaniam, was proud of the fact that India’s newest invention in the automotive field could be brought to such a global stage. Subramaniam is certain that this global reveal showcases India’s fine engineering talent.

Why the focus on the F77 SuperStreet?

Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet offers an alternative driving approach than the Mach 2 manufactured as a sporty motorbike. The F77 SuperStreet is said to be far more upright enabling the right riding posture and all credit for this can be attributed to the straighter handlebars and comfortable ergonomics. The SuperStreet is specifically meant for all urban riders who appreciate performance but requires a bike practical enough for daily commutes.

Power is a sure giveaway for those who chose to take the SuperStreet to the streets. Showcasing a 10,3-kWh battery that is able to offer 323 km of IDC-claimed range performance and the chance to accelerate from 0-60 km/h in just 2,3 seconds. The SuperStreet is in favor of features like 10-level regenerative braking, four traction control modes, as well as dynamic stability control that ensures that a ride in SuperStreet is more precise and much safer.

The minimal bodywork and more futuristic look set this electric bike apart from many other two-wheel offerings throughout Europe, but it’s the SuperStreet’s performance ability that steals all the attention. While Japan dominates hydrogen, India has dealt it a blow and perhaps Ultraviolette plans to cause a disturbance in the competitive global EV market too with its motorcycle offerings.

Next on the cards for Ultraviolette

While Ultraviolette seems to have set its focus on Europe, it is not diverting its attention away from its home country, India. Ultraviolette is getting ready to launch another two long-awaited electric models. Soon to be unveiled in India is the Tesseract and the Shockwave. Ultraviolette’s launch will see India’s first electric scooter as well as a lightweight electric enduro machine.

Ultraviolette is also looking for a major IPO and has plans of raising more or less $500 million in order to scale up the manufacturing process and speed up global expansion initiatives. Both Asia and Latin America is next on Ultraviolette’s radar.

Ultraviolette has shown that now that it’s picked up the pace, there’s no slowing down. The F77 SuperStar showcases that performance is on offer with a motorcycle meant for daily use. Can Ultraviolette live up to the legendary Japanese motorcycle maker by achieving more incredible feats like that of bringing two engines together in one vehicle?
