While so many types of engines have been in the making and so many newer engine designs have succeeded, there is one particular engine that cannot be created. While numerous investors have considered the reality of a self-powering machine, a magnetic motor that rotates endlessly and has clear configurations is virtually impossible to create. The illusion of the magnetic engine will never materialize, particularly because the problem lies not with the gears, magnets, or the overall design. The problem, as you will discover, is not because of the motor itself or the fuel. The problem lies in the absence of the fuel.

Understanding the foundation behind this ‘impossible engine’

Dreams of such an impossible engine are all based on the principle of magnetic repulsion. Experts engaged in dreaming of this kind of engine feel that a rotating wheel of magnets set up in such a way to push each other continuously into a loop can produce constant torque without relying on a fuel source.

At a foundational level, the direction of this engine is clear. With magnets pushing and pulling, the core focus is on harnessing a constant motion that lasts forever. However, there is one critical mistake in this type of thinking. On Physics Forums, mentors have said that a system that works continuously from magnetic principles works on the premise of free energy, which principles of physics do not allow.

A thermodynamic setback is introduced. The setback is based on the idea that a simple wheel generating net torque would still fail. The motion inducing electrical currents through electromagnetic induction causes restrictive heat and, in the process, promotes energy loss. More energy is being lost in the system than energy being generated. After some time, the magnetism would weaken as a result of heating and demagnetization. Without any fuel, none of that energy can be regenerated.

An engine stopped dead in its tracks

The problem with the idea of this magnetic engine is that magnetism does not resemble fuel. Magnets can in no way act as a source of energy. There is potential energy in the magnetic field, yet these magnets are not capable of producing or regenerating any energy. Magnetics function in a system powered entirely by external mechanical energy and electricity.

Fuel is not central, so the entire concept is that of trying to generate power using an interaction incapable of generating power. The initial law of thermodynamics gets violated as energy can in no way be created nor destroyed. This motor breaks all laws entirely and as researchers state physics is non-negotiable.

The limitations of this imaginative engine

Researchers have not pulled the plug entirely on the idea of ultra-efficient systems despite realizing that magnetic engines are impossible. Newer attempts look at how heat can be turned into electricity and how friction in motors can be reduced. Light-driven cooling is a recent model published on Phys.org, geared towards efficient refrigeration with the use of a photonic energy rather than a traditional compressor.

All recent innovations have followed the core rules of physics, shattering the dream of an engine running without fuel, a dream more impossible than improbable.

No fuel means no futuristic fuel-less engine

The entire concept of a motor powered through magnetic repulsion seems to be full of flaws. More than being a challenge for engineers, this fuel-less engine goes against energy principles entirely. Experts all agree that defying the laws of physics makes this engine 100% impossible to create.

Experts deduce that magnets are unable to run without fuel irrespective of how many magnets are put together. That is why the focus falls on generating the best type of fuel or the use of an entirely different fuel for the best type of engines.
