Bringing healthcare to the home, the ‘clinicloud’ comprises of a digital stethoscope and non-contact thermometer that records data and can even provide users with a medical consultation.
the connected devices enable parents to closely monitor every fever, chill, cough, wheeze or cold, by display results on an integrated smart phone app. the stethoscope – an age old diagnosis tool – can listen to anyone and develop an informed opinion, as well as metrics for their respiratory and heart rates. the thermometer combines next-generation infrared technology with bluetooth connectivity, in order to give accurate readings without making any contact with the sleeping child. all the recordings, even the 44.1 kHz audio sounds, are stored on the phone or on the cloud server, and can review a timeline of people’s health statuses. a whole family’s well-being can be kept on a single application and can be used to get video chat feedback from a doctor on demand.
