every piece of tubing, from the fork shape, to the downtube have been sculpted by industrial designers david blomme and jonathan russell to minimize drag. articulating vector wings enclose the leading cables and front brake caliper in a protective shell that are seamlessly integrated into the frame to cut drag, increase speed, save weight and add to madone’s sleek aesthetic. those same brake and shifting cables of the bike are routed through the frame to also increase aerodynamic performance. at the heart of the madone is an integrated control center that houses barrel adjusters or a battery port for an electronic drivetrain. the control center is tucked into the downtime for accessibility, and ease of use. the trek ‘madone 9’ obsessive aerodynamics and weight, perfect balance which is sure to bring out the hidden performance in any rider.
